Sage Software expands it product portfolio with a vertical solution for the health care industry

New Delhi, June 22, 2009: Sage Software India announced the launch of Hospital ERP and Laboratory ERP products for Indian market. The solution has been developed by ID Business Solutions a sister concern of Infinite Dimensions Inc., USA a development partner of Sage Accpac International.

IDMsys is a modular, work-flow based software product that automates enterprise-wide patient management that helps to eliminate manual error-prone interventions. IDMsys makes it easy for a care provider to view a patient’s progress at any point in the care process - from patient appointment scheduling to patient admission and discharge. You can register patients and record vital signs, assign physician and schedule the out-patient services.

IP management module allows you to admit patients, and with a click on a graphical interface you can assign beds and manage bed-maintenance activities such as transfer of patients between beds, and control the status of beds for house-keeping or disinfections. The comprehensive billing & insurance claim management modules capture changes in real time resulting in increased hospital efficiency and reduction of revenue losses.

IDMsys HIS suite of end-to-end solutions also include Sage Accpac ERP 500 series financials comprising of GL, AR, AP, Asset Management with multi-level integration between various functionalities in a enterprise-wide hospital environment from patient appointment, registration, EMR, OP & IP management to the pharmacy, inventory, Insurance, Billing that ends with final balance sheet with drill-down facility for easy reconciliation. The segment-based accounting also offers possibilities to generate P&L and Trial Balance for each department and for every doctor / consultant / equipment / laboratory or specialty clinic.

Further, various business intelligence (BI) tools like CFO (Comprehensive Financial Optimizer), KPI (Key Performance Indicator), Microsoft Excel-based FR (Financial Reporter), Cash-flow macro, budget macro, facility for multi-year budgeting and financial analysis are also available.
