Delhi-Jaipur Taxi Service Gets Boost In View Of Rise In Tourist Flow

New Delhi:6, Dec : Delhi-based taxi services for Jaipur tour get boost as tourist arrivals have increased by 41 per cent. Sources say over 15 crore domestic and foreign tourists have visited the state after 2013 and majority of them used taxi services from Delhi.

A lot of initiatives were taken to encourage private investment in the tourism sectors. Many hotels and tourism units are being established in the private sector in the line of Rajasthan Tourism Unit Policy in June 2015. In fact, in the last 4 years, over 400 Tourism Unit projects have been approved by government.

“With the rise in investment in the tourism sector, car hire services also get a boost. Almost all the cars of my company is on Jaipur tour for 3 days or 4 days. Car rental operators like me are very happy with this surge. If state government is serious then there is no way we can lag behind in business. Maximum foreigners visiting India must visit Jaipur, the place of royalty,” says Jaiveer Tomar, proprietor Aone Trips, top car rental service provider operating from Delhi NCR.

"I have read that that under the Swadesh Darshan of ministry of tourism, projects worth Rs. 90 crores sanctioned for the development of Govind Dev ji Mandir in Jaipur along with Khatushyam ji in Sikar and Nathdwara in Rajsamand. Such developments are good for the car rental services operating from Delhi NCR,” he adds.

Furthermore, sources say development work at the Savitri Mata Temple under the scheme was inaugurated by Rajasthan government on October 10, 2016 and construction of entrance plaza at the Pushkar Brahma Temple is in progress. The state government's contribution to the same is very appreciable.

"As sources say Rajasthan government has engaged specialist agencies in its promotional initiatives for tourism the result of these efforts of is visible in significant increase in tourist arrival and a boost in car rental business,” says Arun Chaudhary, owner, sun taxi rentals, operating in golden triangle of tourism, which is Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan government asserts that effective marketing campaign has led to increased tourism in the state and so car operators are also leaving no stones unturned to promote their services through effective online packages on car rental websites.
