KIESELMANN Managing Director Klaus Dohle:"It is remarkable what we have achieved in just 80 years."

KIESELMANN Managing Director Klaus Dohle:"It is remarkable what we have achieved in just 80 years."

On 11.11.2017 Kieselmann GmbH celebrated its 80th company anniversary at the company headquarters in Knittlingen. In keeping with the Oktoberfest motto, many of the employees appeared dressed in dirndl and leather trousers in the festively decorated festival hall.

In his welcoming address, Klaus Dohle, Managing Director of Kieselmann, spoke about the success story of the formerly small, Swabian contract turning shop, which has grown into an international group of companies in eight decades. The most recent sign of this growth is the new production and office building in which the celebrations were held that evening. It only took 171 days to complete the new building on time for the anniversary celebration. The atmospheric evening was accompanied by a comedic speaker and a rocking folk music band and rounded off by a hearty Bavarian buffet and the matching beer.

At the end of the year, the Festhalle is to be used for its actual purpose: the production of stainless steel valves in order to process customer orders even faster. In the past two years, it had already become apparent that the order situation required an expansion of production capacity. On Monday after the anniversary celebration, for example, transporters with parts of the new machinery went to the courtyard of fluid technology experts.

The name KIESELMANN stands for high-quality fluid technology, such as components and systems that enable the control, manipulation and production of liquid to pasty media. With safe, innovative and reliable products we give our customers in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries the means to meet the needs of their markets today and in the future.

In more than 80 years of company history, KIESELMANN has achieved a leading position in the production of process valves and systems made of stainless steel for the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
Today, the Group is active in three complementary business areas. Component and valve technology from KIESELMANN, partly with electronic control and monitoring, are among the premium products of the industry. The scope of services of the second business unit Plant Engineering includes planning, production and installation of individual units up to complex process plant engineering. Specialist engineers, beverage technologists and an assembly team at KIESELMANN are employed for this purpose. In the third business unit, the beverage pipeline trade, KIESELMANN is now one of the largest in Germany, with a pipe warehouse with a total volume of approx. 200,000 meters of stainless steel pipe.
