The Redwerk software development company gathered representatives of the IT field in one of the company's offices to hold the anniversary Dev Meetup.
At Redwerk much attention is paid to personal growth of the employees. Apart from the learning processes within the company, Redwerk organizes meetups for such representatives of the IT field as developers, testers, designers, PMs and for all comers. The first event was held in October 2016, and in October 2017 the company celebrated the first anniversary of the Dev Meetup presenting enthralling reports in a festive atmosphere.
Each time the Meetup participants receive useful advices from the speakers who are skilled IT professionals. At the anniversary Dev Meetup there was a report presented on software testing by one of the Redwerk developers, there were speeches about the DevOps methodology and intricacies of working with Docker from the guest speakers.
The Dev Meetups‘ popularity and their attendance are growing each time. Since the first meeting 28 speakers have shared their knowledge with 600 guests.
The major advantages of the Dev Meetups are a friendly atmosphere, informal learning, sharing experience and knowledge. New acquaintances and practical problem solutions are what really attracts participants and speakers to such events.
There were also memorable gifts from the organizers to speakers and to those who posed the most interesting questions, and everyone could take themed stickers.
The Redwerk Dev Meetups have made a significant contribution to the IT community development in Zaporizhzhia, helping participants acquire and develop experience in various IT fields.
