Press release from: Kingsley Hamilton Estates

18th November 2017, Beijing - Kingsley Hamilton Estates, a UK-based real estate agency, just announced the opening of an office in Beijing. The move is to strengthen their relationship with Chinese buyers, underlining China’s growing interest in property investments in the UK.

The announcement took place on the 18th of November during the Goodman’s Fields launch event in Beijing in partnership with Berkeley Group and HSBC. The event was a great opportunity for Chinese investors to learn more about the property prospects that are available to them in this new luxurious development located in London. During the event, Reese Ye, Head of China Desk at Kingsley Hamilton Estates and Yinuo Sun, Sales Consultant at Berkeley Group discussed the need to maintain good relationships with Chinese buyers interested in UK properties.

This will mark Kingsley Hamilton Estates’ first office in China, and comes as an answer to investors’ demand in the rapidly growing region of the country. The Kingsley Hamilton Estates office in Beijing is comprised of internationally focused property experts with extensive knowledge in the UK property market, ready to advise Chinese investors.

“The opening of our Beijing office is testament to our strategy to provide our Chinese customers with world-class real estate services. Our Beijing office will complement our China Desk platform in London, and our local presence in Beijing will allow us to be well positioned to assist our clients based in China. The property sector is changing rapidly and we believe that our expertise will allow us to help our clients capitalise on the numerous investment opportunities that are available to them in the UK”, said Stan Tonchev, Associate Director at Kingsley Hamilton Estates.

Beijing is amongst the most developed cities in China and in recent years, Chinese consumers have shown an increasing appetite for luxury homes across the UK. Luxury properties combined with the high level of education the UK offers is attracting Chinese investors, making property investments in the UK second to none. And with the strengthening of the northern powerhouse economy, many Chinese investors are also directing their capital out of London, to the northern cities.

Reese Ye, Head of China Desk at Kingsley Hamilton Estates commented: “despite the political uncertainty in the UK and the restrictions announced earlier in August by the Chinese government, Chinese property investors are still eager to buy residential properties throughout the UK as it remains a top destination for them!”

In addition to Beijing, Kingsley Hamilton Estates has offices in London, Liverpool and Manchester.
