Beer Cartel Marketing Innovation Award Winner

Beer Cartel announced today that its online store has been awarded “Best Marketing Innovation” in the 2017 BigCommerce Innovation Awards, an annual contest recognizing the best in ecommerce innovation. Presented by BigCommerce, the leading ecommerce platform for fast-growing and established brands, Beer Cartel was recognized as an Innovation Award Winner for its ability to grow its database and utilise the strengths of the BigCommerce platform to build sales using a highly innovative strategy through the creation of the Australian Craft Beer Survey.

“We are really humbled by this award,” said Richard Kelsey, Director at Beer Cartel. “Our aim with the survey when we first created it was to simply help the craft beer industry in Australia. To now also get recognition as a marketing innovator is fantastic” he said.

“I am so impressed by Beer Cartel’s idea to create the Australian Craft Beer Survey, and even more impressed by their execution and results; what a genius idea. They simultaneously promoted their brand, gathered incredibly valuable data about the customers in their market and increased sales,” said Michael Leff, vice president of technology at StoreYourBoard and 2017 Innovation Awards judge.

The BigCommerce Innovation Awards recognize brands selling online through BigCommerce’s platform that identify unique ways to solve product, marketing and customer experience challenges. To learn more about the awards, visit: www.bigcommerce.com/awards/innovation.
