Algoworks Celebrates Diwali Bollywood Style

The 2017 Diwali was different from the earlier Diwalis in the sense that it was brighter, happier, and merrier this year. The decor of the premises was a treat to the eyes as everyone geared up to participate in the ‘Algoworks Film Festival Bollywood Galore’ where each team was to gather maximum points based on how well they decorate their bays and how well they present a five minute act from the movie they chose to represent.

A colorful rangoli beautified the reception area, and buntings and flowers all around the office dazzled up the whole place. Diyas were lit, and the employees wore their best traditional attires for the day.

The employees decorated their bays on some legendary and iconic Bollywood movies like, Sholay, Devdas, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Golmaal, Agneepath, and a lot other films. The bay that enacted a critically acclaimed bollywood movie, ‘Fashion’, won the competition by winning over judges’ hearts with their amazing and stylish walk on the ramp. The members of the team dressed up and showcased panache. The team that stood second in the competition was the one that enacted ‘Hera Pheri’, an another iconic, humorous movie. Their funny and comical acting made everyone laugh their hearts out, making them the audience’s favorite.

The employees also competed for the position of Best Dressed Female and Male, where Rachna Mishra (dressed as Madhuri Dixit) and Navbhushan Singh (dressed as Gabbar) took away the trophy, respectively.

As the day descended, everyone came onto the dance floor and danced joyously, marking the special day of Diwali. The party ended on a good note with a group photo session, and gifts were distributed in the entire office by the HRs. Amidst all the work and hustle, Team Spasso once again managed to pull a successful and fun event for the members of Algoworks.
