PFD Food Services Selects SolveIT Software for Demand Planning and Replenishment Optimisation
ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA, 29 April 2009 – SolveIT Software Pty Ltd, a leading provider of enterprise software solutions for supply & demand optimisation and predictive modelling, announced today that it has signed a contract with PFD Food Services for the deployment of an enterprise-wide system for demand planning and replenishment optimisation.The deployed system will take into account the constraints and complexities of inventory replenishment planning across more than 60 locations and 15,000 individual SKUs to provide users with optimised replenishment plans, accurate demand forecasts, and real-time reporting. The Demand Planning and Replenishment Optimiser will integrate with PFD Food Services’ ERP system and will replace the existing spreadsheets used to manage the replenishment process. The system will maximise service levels for PFD Food Services’ customers, while optimising for inventory and site capacities.
