---
Porvoo, 13 October 2017 – VolleyNetWork, an international sporting agency licensed by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB – Fédération Internationale de Volleyball), has entered into a cooperation with one of the most prestigious volleyball organizations, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), and proudly supports the AVCA Convention 2017 in Kansas City, USA. Individuals from outside of the US who register at the AVCA with a VolleyNetWork code will receive a discount of up to US$ 260 on the visitor fee.

VolleyNetWork co-founder Dirk Sauermann is delighted to be partnering with a heavyweight among global volleyball organizations: “The AVCA would like to establish its traditional event more strongly with international participants and has chosen us as a cooperation partner to carry the excitement for this outstanding volleyball event to Europe and into the volleyball world. The trust placed in our agency is a great honour and is at the same time an incentive to intensify our cooperation with the AVCA even further.”

The AVCA Convention is held annually in an American city and attracts more than 2,500 participants. Parallel to the AVCA Convention 2017, the final four tournaments in women's volleyball of the American collegiate athletic association, the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) takes place, and is the highlight of the college season. The AVCA would like to set a new visitor record at the convention this year and therefore offers a seminar programme filled with more than 90 events with top international coaches and experts. The current American national coaches for women and men, Karch Kiraly and John Speraw, will pass on their knowledge. Coaching legends such as Avital Selinger (Olympic athlete and former national coach of the Dutch women’s team), Doug Beal (Olympic athlete, gold medalist as a coach), as well as John Dunning (former head coach of Stanford University and as coach multiple NCAA winner) share their ideas and talk about their volleyball philosophies. With gold coach Marco Sicoli the organizers have also gained the participation of a proven Beach volleyball expert for the convention.
