Exclusive Interview with Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva Published in Asean Affairs Magazine Mar/April 2009 Issue
During the interview PM Abhisit responded to a variety of questions including the parallels drawn between him and US President Obama. PM Abhisit said “The comparison is very flattering. The (US) President (Barack Obama) has made history just being where he is today and there is so much hope pinned on him. What we have in common is the fact that there are huge challenges facing us in the economic crisis and here (in Thailand) we also have the political dimension interacting with these economic problems.”
