BMW Tennis Championship Goes Worldwide On B2 Networks

(Sunrise, FL) - B2 Networks and the BMW Tennis Championship today announced an agreement to broadcast its ATP event to a global audience via broadband exclusively on B2 Networks. Live daily coverage of all Stadium Court action for the 2009 tournament will begin on Tuesday, March 17 and conclude with the championship match on Sunday, March 22, 2009.

The 2009 BMW Tennis Championship will feature nine players ranked in the top 50 including Feliciano Lopez (Spain) ranked No. 27, 2008 Wimbledon semifinalist Rainer Schuettler (Germany) ranked No. 31 and 2008 Delray Beach ITC Champion Kei Nishikori (Japan). Fans wanting to watch the best tennis players in the world can buy a tournament pass from B2 for $19.99 if purchased before March 15; after that date passes will cost $24.99. For spectators choosing to watch selected matches, daily passes are available for $9.99. Tennis supporters worldwide will be able to follow the event since all valid international credit cards will be accepted.

Coverage of the tournament will consist of live action from the day and evening sessions for the entire week. The BMW Tennis Championship is in its sixth year as a key stop between two ATP World Tour Masters 1000 events (the BNP Paribas Open -- formerly the Pacific Life Open-and Sony Ericsson Open, played just 45 minutes short of Sunrise).
