In 2015, the value of conveyor and conveying equipment production in the U.S. amounted to $8.6B, going up by +5.3% against the previous year level. Overall, the U.S. conveyor and conveying equipment output pursued a pronounced growth from 2007 to 2015. The total output figures increased at an average annual rate of +2.9%. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticable fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2011, when the output figure increased by +20% from the previous year level. Over the period under review, the total value of conveyor and conveying equipment shipments reached its maximum level in 2015, and is likely to continue its growth in the immediate term.

Unit handling conveyors and conveying systems (excluding hoists and farm elevators) accounted for the highest share (50% in 2015) of U.S. conveyor and conveying equipment manufacturing, leaving a considerable room for bulk material handling conveyors and conveying systems (25%).
