Candice Guardino’s Hit Comedy premieres at her hometown of Staten Island
New York, NY, Sep 06, 2017 -- Candice Guardino is a Staten Island native. She is being called someone who Stuns!, "A Must See" and is “Redefining Solo Performances” by The Chicago Stage, Los Angeles, NY, and New Jersey. It only seems fitting that Candice will premiere her hit show, Italian Bred, in her hometown of Staten Island at the Music Hall in Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden on November 11th 2017 at 8:00pm. In addition to the show, Cheech - a - Cini’s Truckin Trattoria will be parked outside the Theatre and serving their delicious Italian favorites as well as some warm goodies starting at 6pm. Bring your family, your appetites, and get ready to have a fun and hilarious night out!Italian Bred is based on true life events and told through the eyes of a little girl growing up Italian on Staten Island. Candice slips in and out of multiple family characters while sharing the stage with virtual cameos of Emmy winner Steve Schirripa (Blue Bloods), Mario Cantone (Sex & the City), Leslie Jordan (Will and Grace), and Vic DiBitetto (Mall Cop 2.) Candice Guardino will visit Staten Island this Fall after successful shows in NYC, LA, Chicago, and NJ where she received rave reviews and played to sold-out crowds. A new take on solo shows is exactly what Candice does and its not to be missed!
Guardino was born in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn, was raised on Staten Island, and now splits her time between Los Angeles and New York City. Candice made a name for herself on the New York theatre scene with her outrageously revealing one-woman show. Candice has also written several sitcoms, stage plays, screenplays, and shorts. Candice has studied with UCB, Second City, The Pit Improv and has a BA in Theatre from Wagner College.
