Delray Beach, Florida: Publica announced its roadmap to the blockchain revolution for everyone involved in publishing--authors, readers, publicists, editors, illustrators, institutions, lawyers, crowdfunders, printers, even traditional book publishers.

“Blockchains create opportunities for orchestrating multi-sided markets where publishers’ tasks are partly automated and partly taken over by the gig economy,” said author and professor Arne Krokan of the Department of Sociology and Political Science at NTNU Norway.

Professor Krokan added: “Publica is a disruptive service that creates a whole new ecosystem and infrastructure for all types of media. Publica allows us to publish globally whether we make learning materials, novels, movies or other expressions. This will change how traditional publishers work in the future.”

“Our October token launch will kick off our demonstration of e-reader apps and authors’ crowdfunding sites in the new year. Everyone can get in on the fun,” said Publica’s CEO Josef Marc.

“Publishing books is the easy part. Making and marketing great books requires a lot of skilled people. It takes a village and now that’s global. We’re totally committed to the real end game--automating the e-commerce in movies, games, and books’ other derivative rights.”
