In 2015, the value of soft drink production in the U.S. amounted to $38.6B, growing by +13.2% against the previous year level. Overall, the U.S. soft drink output pursued a slight growth from 2007 to 2015. The total output figures increased at an average annual rate of +1.5%. The trend pattern was relatively stable, with only minor fluctuations throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015, when the output figure increased by +13% from the previous year level. In that year, the value of shipments of soft drink in the United States reached its maximum level and is likely to continue its growth in the immediate term.

Soft drinks, bottled, canned, glass, plastic, carbonated was the major product category in the U.S. soft drink manufacturing, with a share in total output standing near 68% in 2015. Soft drinks, non-carbonated lagged far behing, accounting for only the 30% share. The other related products together comprised approx. 2% of the total output.
