Have you seen Bigfoot?

The National Cryptid Society is seeking stories from people who have had an encounter with Bigfoot, Mothman, strange animals and monsters of all types.

Have you seen Bigfoot? Have you had a run-in with the Mothman? People see strange things every day, but few people tell their story. Some people may fear being ridiculed for telling others that they’ve seen a cryptid animal. The National Cryptid Society (NCS) offers witnesses anonymity when they report a sighting of a monster or strange animal.

The Oxford English Dictionary defines the word cryptid as “An animal whose existence or survival is disputed or unsubstantiated, such as the yeti.” For witnesses who have seen cryptid animals, there is no dispute. These witnesses tell their stories in the National Cryptid Society’s case files.

The NCS is not in competition with other cryptozooligical reporting agencies, however they do not require photographs, video or other evidence to make a report. The NCS is only interested in your story. It is also not required that the encounter be recent, just that the witness recounts the story as they remember it.

The National Cryptid Society (NCS) is a grass-roots cryptozoological reporting agency and cryptozoology news archive featuring reports from eyewitnesses who have seen Bigfoot and other strange creatures from around the United States and the world. Although the NCS receives reports from individuals of their monster sightings, further investigation is not required by the witness in order to make a submission. Unlike major cryptozoological reporting and investigation agencies, the NCS is only interested in the stories from witnesses as best as they can recall. No further investigation of the witness, physical or photographic evidence is required in order for the case file to be reported on the website.
