LANXESS to Present Innovations and Trends Shaping the Modern Rubber Industry at 4th Asia Rubber & Tire Markets Conference
Christian Lindenhayn, LANXESS Butyl Rubber Business Unit, will present the “Butyl Rubber Demand and Supply Outlook” at the 4th Asia Rubber and Tire Markets conference in Singapore
The 4th Asia Rubber and Tire Markets conference will address key issues in technology, pricing forecasts, supply, feedstock availability and diversification, marketing and environmental impact.
Christoph Kalla, Head of Global Marketing at LANXESS’s Performance Butadiene Rubbers business unit, will deliver a presentation titled “From Petrochemicals to Intelligent Tires- Role of the Modern Rubber Industry”. The topic will cover the innovations in butadiene rubber grades and how these innovations are shaping the future of the rubber and tire market leading to “intelligent tires”.
Christian Lindenhayn, Head of Global Marketing at LANXESS’s Butyl Rubber business unit, will present the “Butyl Rubber Demand and Supply Outlook”. He will also discuss strategies for the industry to meet rising demand and the importance of pinpointing the right time for investment in the Butyl Rubber sector.

LANXESS and Chinese tire company Triangle strengthen partnership
German specialty chemicals company LANXESS and one of China’s largest tire companies Triangle Group have further strengthened their long-term partnership. Both companies have signed an agreement under which LANXESS will supply Triangle with premium halobutyl rubbers from 2012-2014. Financial details were not disclosed.
