More and more customers base their buying choices on how a product is packed, and retailers need to find alternative marking solutions for their fruits and vegetables.
Instead of using stickers or even packaging products in trays and cellophane wrap, the products were marked directly on their skin using a C02 Laser Coder. The laser only alters the pigment of the skin of the product, there is no effect on the fruit or vegetable itself.
Using laser marking will help to get better marking from an environmental perspective, the laser technology can save enormous packaging material.
