Comarch Reaffirms its “Strong” Position in Gartner's BSS Market Report
Today, Comarch announced that it has been rated as “strong” in Gartner’s “Business Support System Market Overview and Strategic Scorecard for Vendors, 2008” report, and as “stable” in the “OSS Market Overview and Strategic Scorecard for Vendors, 2008” report.
Gartner evaluated global vendors based on the scope of their products or services, market understanding, offering strategy, geographic strategy, sales strategy, market responsiveness as well as track record and overall viability. The overall score is a summary of scores in individual criteria.
The end-to-end Comarch BSS Suite includes modules developed in-house for billing and rating, mediation, revenue collection, customer and partner management, sales and marketing, business intelligence, revenue assurance, fraud management, interconnect billing, roaming settlement, voucher management, product catalog and point of sale, among other things. In addition, the Comarch OSS Suite includes network management, inventory management, trouble ticketing and fault management modules, and various others. The company also offers a compact BSS/OSS/CRM solution for operators that require the fast introduction of new services.
Based on shifting requirements toward holistic IT/network management, Comarch has strengthened its product suite. At the center of this refocus has been the addition of process modeling functionality to its suite, which is offered as process-driven inventory management and next-generation service assurance integrated products.
