Lentech, Inc. Names Daniel Dant as Vice President of Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Programs
Reston, Va., July 18, 2017 — Lentech, Inc. announces the appointment of Daniel Dant as its Vice President of DoD and Intelligence Programs. Mr. Dant has more than 27 years' experience in high-level government and industry positions within the DoD space community, ranging from space operations and control, national-level and DoD space strategy and policy formation, intelligence, and acquisition support. He will be responsible for existing Lentech defense programs and driving expansion in DoD and Intelligence markets."We are extremely excited that Dan has joined Lentech,” stated Lentech's CEO Andrew Gallegos. "Dan's combination of experience, knowledge, and professional reputation fit perfectly with the values of Lentech. His addition to our leadership team adds to our continued expansion of providing engineering, IT and technical solutions, and professional and advisory services to civil and defense customers.”
Mr. Dant previously served in industry as Strategic Advisor to the Principal DoD Space Advisor in the Pentagon. With a 25-year career as an Air Force military officer, Colonel (Ret.) Dant was the Director of Strategy and Programming in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisitions, Technology and Logistics. He commanded the 460th Space Wing at Buckley Air Force Base, leading America's space-based Infrared missile warning team. He was the Director of Space Policy for the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Cyber and Space Policy, and selected for the Chief of Staff of the Air Force Fellow Program. Mr. Dant holds 4 master’s degrees and a certificate from Harvard University in Organizational Change and Leadership.
