NOLAN ROBERT TAKES IT ALL ON LIFETIME TV SERIES FINALE BLUSH

Los Angeles (December 17, 2008) - Nolan Robert has just been voted the top makeup artist on the exciting, season one finale of Lifetime’s “Blush” taking home a deal with the esteemed makeup line Max Factor. From his first challenge on the show, Nolan set the bar with a keen eye for beauty, a high level of creativity and a truly genuine grace that won the show’s judges over in the end.

Of the season finale, winning the show and the sudden, tragic loss of his friend and fellow contestant Todd Homme, Nolan humbly shares, “It is bittersweet winning as this has been one of the best and worst weeks of my life. The show was an incredible experience. Winning was a dream come true because after ten years in this industry, I have put so much into my craft. It has already done so much for my career and as great as that is, I know I couldn’t have done it without my best friend Todd by my side—his talent truly inspired me to dig deep and he will be missed.”

One of the ten contestants chosen from thousands around the country, Nolan has now won a contract as a professional artist with Max Factor, a cash prize of $100,000 and the opportunity to work as a makeup artist for an upcoming InStyle magazine photo shoot. Hosted by Vanessa Marcil, in each episode, the contestants, who all lived under one roof in Los Angeles, competed in different makeup competitions designed to test the skills and personality traits necessary for success in their field.

Prior to the show, Nolan worked for many fashion and charity events including: Mercedes Benz fashion week, Macy’s Annual Passport Charity Fashion Event, Dream Halloween hosted by Jamie Lee Curtis, the Annual Splash/World’s Fair Charity Event, as well as a photo shoot for Paper Magazine called “The Last Supper” with photographer Mike Ruiz. While working on these events, Nolan was able to work on such well known celebrities as: Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Liv Tyler, Carmen Electra, and America’s Next Top Model winners Yoanna House, Eva Pigford, and Jaslene Gonzales.
