BlindsExpress Adds New Insulating Window Blinds: Door Decor™ Cellular Shades and ComforTrac-Plus
Online window blinds retailer BlindsExpress has added two new insulating window blind products engineered for maximum insulation and energy efficiency.
Both of the two new window insulation products are from Comfortex, a leading manufacturer and fabricator of custom window treatment products in the US and throughout the world.
While each of the two new window blinds products available through BlindsExpress are built for insulation, each is uniquely different in look, design, and function. The new Door Décor™ Cellular Shades feature a tension control system that is available in three operating options.
"Door Décor™ Cellular Shades are the perfect insulating design option for hard to cover narrow windows and doors and are available with energy efficient Symphony® and Virtuoso® Light Filtering and Blackout fabrics. The improved ComforTrack™ Plus Energy Saving Sidetrack System maximizes the energy efficiency of a cellular shade by closing the gap between the side of the shade and the wall. The new ComfortTrack™ Plus are attached to the window casings with magnets and can be easily removed for window cleaning.
To minimize heat loss and save energy dollars, the newly developed clear edge seal of the ComfortTrack™ Plus is placed between the window shade and the track to help create a tight seal. Windflield says that the ComforTrack™ Plus is excellent for bedrooms and media rooms because the amount of light that can penetrate a room is significantly diminished.
