Cambridge, MA. March 13, 2006 --The Mecenax Project today announced a voluntary collective licensing initiative.
The Mecenax Project collects donations and subscriptions from users who choose to support member artists.
Independent artists and authors can submit their work, track downloads and get paid based on their popularity.
The project is based on Creative Commons licenses, open distribution of content and a strict no-DRM policy.
