International fashion brand DOPAMIN launches new campaign
Aspiring young designers and models starring in new DOPAMIN campaign8 December 2008 – The international fashion brand DOPAMIN has launched a new campaign revolving around the unique fashion items designed by the aspiring young designers at the very heart of the DOPAMIN label. The campaign focuses on ready-to-wear key pieces such as T-shirts, polo shirts, shirts and jumpers.
Representing the signature DOPAMIN look, a distinctive cast of models – many of whom embody the unique DOPAMIN philosophy of also being the actual designers of their own DOPAMIN gear – now showcase the DOPAMIN fashion pieces:
Aged 18, Rob Hughes from Worcester (England) is a leading British male model and a close friend of the DOPAMIN team. He has been featured in global campaigns for numerous brands.
James Chapman from Norwich (England), 18, is a British designer and model for DOPAMIN. He has been with the DOPAMIN label from the very start and has designed various items in the distinctive DOPAMIN style. With his smooth, androgynous looks, he is an apt ambassador for the up-street fashion label.
Tim Mehlis and Laurids Weinelt are DOPAMIN designers and models from Germany who have created many of the items they represent.
The photos for the campaign were shot by star photographer Claudius Holzmann in Düsseldorf. The unusual settings were inspired by uniqueness and fabulous luxury. Behind the hairstyles was stylist Yves-Pierre Bubert, member of the “Haute Coiffure Française” and one of the nominees for the 2008 German Hairdressing Award, the “Hairstyling Oscar”.
DOPAMIN CEO Carsten Drochner comments: “Uniqueness is one of DOPAMIN’s core values so well-expressed by our designers. In fact, the starting point for this campaign grew straight out of the uniqueness and genuineness of our designers. And these unique personalities are so real in their own creations, they overshadow even the most luxurious setting. We are proud to show the world their faces.”
