Frankfurt, 5 December 2008: The German Association of Communications Agencies (GWA) has launched an internet portal for young people. The website kommunikarriere.de comprises all relevant information for career starters in the advertising industry.Kommunikarriere is an internet portal for young people who are interested in the advertising industry. Kommunikarriere addresses young people who want to know more about the advertising and communications branch. The internet platform gives information on the different spheres of advertising agencies and presents a detailed overview of the branch. It gives insights in the daily routine of advertisers and bundles all information on the career start. Kommunikarriere is an initiative of the GWA.
Some features of the internet portal:
• Agency profiles: the GWA member agencies present themselves as employers
• Testimonials: Experts report from their daily routine
• Link-Wiki: interesting internet links for the advertising industry
• Blog: Mandy Börsch, Human Resources Responsible for Grey Düsseldorf, gives hints on how to apply for a job in the advertising industry
• Information on vocational training and education: study courses, training courses, advanced training, internships
• Scholarship: young people have the possibility to obtain a scholarship with the KreativKader Düsseldorf for a vocational training to become a copywriter
