Festival opens to the public on Wednesday, 19th July and this year travelling to Debrecen from Europe could be more convenient than ever as Wizz Air and Lufthansa offers in total 24 flights on that particular week for Festival goers. Visitors are advised to book their Festival and airline tickets early as demand is expected to be very high.

Campus Festival attracts more and more international visitors than any other major East-Hungarian cultural event, being East Hungary’s leading cultural destination event and contributor to festival tourism.

Laszlo Tamas, Aviation Development Director, Debrecen Airport, said “Now preparing for its 10th year, Campus Festival in Debrecen is a hugely important and successful cultural and tourism event in Hungary. The tremendous work that has been completed in Debrecen over the decades has borne great fruit with a terrific festival that now has a multiple award-winning title that makes Debrecen a great place to be in July. Debrecen Airport is very pleased to facilitate visitors coming to Hungary for the festival from UK, France, BENELUX, Germany, Italy, Scandinavia, Israel and elsewhere. The upcoming Campus Festival more accessible and better value for money than ever before. Star performances from "The Prodigy, Lukas Graham and alle farben" will boost traffic and brings more variety in the number of performances and events compared to last year’s Festival. We are committed to offering our customers direct, value for money connections to Debrecen Airport and we look forward to welcoming our Campus Festival guests on board in the near future.”
