Enjoying Spanish classes in the garden of IIC in Sosua

Sosua/Dominican Republic, 7 November 2008 (iic) – The Dominican Republic is mainly known for its picturesque beaches, sunny skies and turquoise sea. Although, there is much more to see and do. One can climb the highest mountain of the Caribbean, explore the oldest city of the New World, and surf one of the best wind and kite surfing spots in the world.

A Spanish course is another way to discover the country’s diversity. In 2009, the Dominican language school Instituto Intercultural del Caribe (IIC) is going to celebrate its 15th anniversary. Therefore, the school presents in its course program 2009 plenty of new courses. They range from 1-week holidays courses to intensive Spanish immersion programs and combined courses for sports enthusiasts and culture orientated people.

A special anniversary package shall spur the interest in learning Spanish abroad even more. Students will get the course rates of 15 years ago if they book a course for 2009 between this year’s November 15th and December 15th. Instituto Intercultural del Caribe (IIC) is the Spanish section of the Language & Culture Institute EDASE. The Institute is one of the largest institutions offering Spanish as a second language in the Dominican Republic. It is represented by agencies worldwide including Enforex, Kaplan Aspect and AmeriSpan. In addition to Spanish courses for students studying abroad and tourists, the school offers German and English classes and carries out translations with official recognition.
