1. Your Speech is a PERFORMANCE. So make it good as possible. In fact, a lot more people will see your acceptance speech than they will likely ever see you perform in your winning movie.
2. DON'T be a Bore. Thanking your lawyers, agents, and managers in a perfunctory manner, will always bore. Don't thank anyone who has made a lot of money off of you. Don't read anything in front of the audience—not even for a second.
