DUNE SOUTHHampton Parent Company and byDavid Events & Staffing Partner to Launch “The Event Space”

Paige Restaurant Group, parent company to acclaimed eateries Honey, Dip and The Hill, and byDavid Staffing & Events, a premier special events planner in the tri-state area, have partnered to create The Event Space, a 5,500 square foot special occasion venue is set to begin booking special events on October 1, 2008.
Designed to be an all-inclusive facility, The Event Space will offer an elegant downtown location for receptions and parties in addition to services such as event planning, foodservice, and theme development. “We’re going beyond the traditional idea of a venue space to provide access to fine catering services and professional event staffing. We will walk clients through every detail from the conception of an idea to seating arrangements and décor,” said David Beck, byDavid Staffing & Events owner.
Located on 26th Street, The Event Space features commanding 25-foot ceilings, a modern catering kitchen, elegant chandeliers, and floor-to-ceiling windows with a view. “The Event Space conveniently brings together all of the physical components and expert services necessary for successful and memorable special occasions,” said Matt Shendell, president of Paige Restaurant Group.
The facility also includes a DJ booth, hardwood flooring, coat check area, ample storage space, ground floor loading access, and a freight elevator. The Event Space can comfortably accommodate up to 250 people for seated dinners, and up to 600 for cocktail-style receptions.

Shendell formed Paige Restaurant Group in 2006, after the successful launches of New York restaurants Honey and Dip, followed by the Hampton’s premier nightclub, Dune Southampton.
Beck founded Events by David in 2004. The firm is a foremost event management and exclusive staffing provider for the New York area, with clients including NYU Medical Center, Serena Bass Catering, Altman Building, Barney’s, Megu Catering and Hotel Roger Williams
