Change in the Leadership

Sascha Hertel became the new director of the Afghan German Management College (AGMC), located in Koblenz, Germany. The 29 years old entrepreneur takes over the daily business from Bastian Kuhl.

Since the foundation in July 2006 Hertel has been working as the deputy director of the AGMC. Now he is in full charge. He says about his new position: “I am glad to participate in the process of exchanging values and knowledge between the cultures.”

Predecessor Kuhl is now working more in the background of the College. He became president of this institution and gives strategic directives. Kuhl means: “The College has reached such a size, that necessitated to enlarge the management. Therefore we have established the structure of the president and the board of directors. So we will continue the direction of growth.”

The Afghan German Management College focuses in transferring business knowledge from Germany to Afghanistan. Temporary 250 afghan students study English Management terms. There are seven lecturers, including two women.
