Git client Tower brings new features & extended Git LFS support to Windows
Tower for Windows

New features of the latest version include:
- Better notifications: Tower now issues notifications in various situations, e.g. to let users know when a clone, fetch or pull has finished.
- Diff and Merge tools: Multiple new diff and merge tools are now supported in Tower. Amongst them P4Merge, KDiff, DeltaWalker, DiffMerge, Meld and many more. On top of that users can also integrate their own.
- Extended Git LFS Support: Git Large File Storage (LFS) offers an improved way to integrate large binary files (e.g. graphics, videos, and audio samples) into the Git workflow. Working with Git LFS has already been possible in Tower for Mac. The update brings the extended support of Git LFS to the Windows version. Tower now offers initial configuration and many advanced features and settings for Git LFS.
- View remote in Browser: With a single right-click on a remote repository, users can now view the repository in their browser (e.g. on github.com, bitbucket.com, and many more).
These are just a few of the many improvements that ship with the new version.
The update is free for existing customers. New users can test the app and all its features 30 days for free. During launch week fournova also offers a 25% discount on both Tower for Mac and Tower for Windows (sale special ends June 18th, 2017) .
Students and educational institutions receive a 50% discount.
