Gartner highlights Empirum life-cycle management software

Low cost and easy to Implement

Atlanta Georgia, November 11, 2005. Software vendor matrix42 is among the 12 most important vendors on the global market for life-cycle management products. “Empirum” a product of the German company with US headquarters in Atlanta Georgia covers the complete life-cycle of all hardware and software used in a company; the product is low-priced and easy to handle and is highly successful in the Systems management market. This is the result of the study “Magic Quadrant for PC Life Cycle Configuration Management, 2005“ conducted by the market analyst company Gartner.

The bar has been raised: In order to be included into the “Magic Quadrant“, vendors had to prove that their solutions fulfill enterprise class requirements as well as the needs of small and mid-sized businesses. The products also have to offer modules for inventory management and automatic software distribution, OS installation and Patch management.
