Questrade launches Chinese outreach initiative

Toronto, ON (October 8th, 2008) – Questrade Inc. today announced a new initiative for the Chinese-speaking community. This includes: the Questrade corporate website in traditional and simplified Chinese. The site includes pricing and rates, trading platforms, investment products and services, security and privacy, and contact information. Also available is Questrade’s live help tool, which allows clients to chat instantly online with client services representatives in simplified and traditional Chinese.

Edward Kholodenko, President and CEO of Questrade said: “Our clientele is diverse and we want to reflect that in our products and services. Making Questrade.com and other products and services available in Chinese means we can better support our Chinese-speaking clients. This initiative is a big part of our mission at Questrade, which is to help all Canadians take control of their investments.”

Questrade also provides trading platforms in Chinese: QuestraderWEB, the free stock trading platform, was launched last year in traditional Chinese; QuestradeFX, the foreign currency platform, is in simplified Chinese. Over the past several months, Questrade has made extensive outreach to the Chinese community through newspapers, television, seminars and other live events. In addition to online live help in traditional and simplified Chinese, client services staff speak Cantonese and Mandarin for telephone support.
