Poughkeepsie, NY: NetPub/MCA, a Hudson Valley printing and publishing company is delighted to announce the appearance of NetPub author Anthony Musso on C-SPAN2’s Cities Tour. Mr. Musso authored “FDR and The Post Office A young boy’s fascination; a world leader’s passion” and Musso’s meticulous research has supplied him with a unique perspective on this particular aspect of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s life, enriching the local history of Hyde Park.
Musso is a journalist and weekly columnist with Gannet Newspapers and writes frequently about local histories, towns, landmarks and Hudson Valley life. Besides "FDR and the Post Office", his other titles include "Hidden Treasures of the Hudson Valley" Volumes One and Two--each volume features 55 sites throughout the upstate New York region that, while not widely known, boast significant ties to the American Revolution, early American industry, local and national politics and fascinating historical minutiae. He also released "Staatsburg: A Village Lost in Time" and most recently, "Hidden Treasures of the Catskills”.
As many as 12 segments featuring Hyde Park will be created for the Cities Tour special and air on "Book TV" on C-SPAN2 and "American History TV" on C-SPAN3 on June 17-18.
