Freebly Launches Free Web Design Service
Freebly has just launched a new service providing low cost and free web design. They aim to appeal to the many business owners out there who either don't think they need a website or feel they cant afford one.Freebly have positioned themselves somewhere in the middle of the current way things are done. There are no set-up costs attached to getting a Freebly site and there is a free one page option which enables businesses to have an on-line presence at no cost whatsoever. Where Freebly differs from the site building packages is that your site will be built for you, much as it would if you contracted a web designer to build it. This means that there is no need for business owners to learn any design interface software in order to get their own website up and running. Costs are comparable with the on-line site builders and with the business package that Freebly offers you also have use of a CMS to enable site updates after the site goes live.
At present there are two ways of going about getting a website built for an organisation or company. Going directly to a web design company and getting a site built for you by them can be expensive depending upon the company you use (expert market estimate a simple site will cost £600 initially). You also have to consider ongoing costs such as hosting and domain renewal (expert market estimate around £10 per month for a simple site).
Another cheaper option is building your own site using one of the many website builders out there. Prices range from free to £30 a month but you need to bear in mind with this option you need to learn how to use the design system in order to build the website.
Freebly have a series of packages that range in price from free to £95 per year.
