Gathered from Amazon.com, the lists feature the top-selling new hardcover and paperback books by and about African Americans, including children's books and “urban fiction” books.The free website supports authors in promoting their new books to readers of African American fiction, nonfiction, and children's/young adult books.
The bestseller lists identify the hot-selling books on Amazon.com. In addition, readers can offer their comments and reviews of the best seller list as well as any other books by and about African Americans on the interactive website. Taking advantage of Amazon.com's Web Service, the bestselling lists provide a more specific listing of African American books than what can be retrieved using the Advanced Search on Amazon's web site.
