ITEQ Corporation Announces North America-Based Global

SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA, May 16, 2017 -- ITEQ Corporation, a Taiwan-based global leader in the development and manufacture of copper-clad laminates for printed circuit boards (PCBs), announced today the introduction of its North America-based Global Marketing and Sales Team. The team will be a focal point of an enhanced global marketing, sales, and distribution strategy for ITEQ. North America sales will continue with ITEQ’s long-standing North American distribution partner, International Electronic Components, Inc. (IEC). ITEQ has also approved a plan to build a Materials Development and Testing Laboratory in the U.S. to augment this global marketing and sales strategy and allow a more nimble and dynamic qualification and application engineering setup in North America.

With respect to what the formation of the team means for ITEQ’s future, Tarun Amla, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for ITEQ Corporation, noted, “ITEQ has grown into a very important player in the copper-clad laminate space. This success has been derived from the dynamic and forward-thinking approach ITEQ has maintained since its founding. The development of this new team and the Materials Development and Testing Laboratory is a manifestation of that organizational drive for excellence and growth. I believe this is a major step toward attaining a larger international footprint for our organization.”

ITEQ’s North America-Based Team

Tarun Amla serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer for ITEQ Corporation, as well as President, North America, with broad control and focus on R&D, New Product Development, Engineering, Technical Services, and Global Marketing & Sales. He has more than 25 years of experience in the electronics and electronics materials industry in diverse roles at companies such as Allied Signal (now Honeywell) and Isola Group. Prior to joining ITEQ in March 2017, Tarun served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Shengyi Technology and, prior to that, served as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Isola Group.

Richard Pangier joined ITEQ as VP, North America Sales in April 2017. Rich has 27 years of experience in the laminate industry holding various positions at Norplex/Oak, AlliedSignal (now Honeywell), and Isola in Sales/Account Management, Field Applications Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing, serving as Senior Director of OEM Marketing, in his previous role at Isola Group.

Luc Beauvillier joined ITEQ as Senior Director of OEM Marketing, North America and Europe, in April 2017. Prior to joining ITEQ, Luc spent over 22 years in the electronics industry, 17 of which in PCB manufacturing. In the last six years, he has been managing various high profile laminate accounts, including all technical marketing from product introduction to qualification, to securing a multi-million dollar program. Most recently, Luc was the head of HDI application programs at Isola Group.

Michael Miller joined ITEQ as Global Director of Technology, focusing on RF/Microwave and High Speed Digital applications in April 2017. He has more than 20 years engineering design experience in commercial and aerospace industries combined with global OEM Marketing experience. Prior to joining ITEQ, Michael was Director of Engineering and General Manager for Galtronics, USA. Michael has held engineering leadership positions at Isola, General Atomics, ANSYS, and Boeing.

Mark Shields joined ITEQ as North America Director of Sales & Marketing in April 2015. Mark’s career in the Copper Clad Laminate market began in 1977 as a Regional Account Manager with the Westinghouse Electric Micarta Division. In 1997 Mark joined Tapco Circuit Supply, a distribution company offering a complete product line of PCB raw materials. During his time at Tapco, Mark’s positions included Regional Sales Manager and Lamination Products Business Unit Vice President.

Guoren (Michael) He, PhD joined ITEQ as a Technical Consultant, working on R&D for high performance laminates, in April 2017. Michael has over 20 years of experience in the PCB industry, having worked as a senior R&D research scientist at Polyclad Laminates and Senior Principal Scientist at Isola Group.
