MARIETTA, GA -- There are as many variations of tarps on the market as there are uses for them. With consumers demanding more choice than ever, tarp manufacturers are constantly developing new products, styles, and finishes to suit the ever-changing consumer.

Mytarp.com, an online manufacturer and retailer of some of the finest quality canvas tarps and vinyl tarps on the market, has just recently expanded their range of tarps to give their customers greater choice of color and styles.

The Mytarp.com’s expanded tarp range includes Standard Tarps, Heavy Duty Tarps, Super Duty Tarps, and Flame Retardant Tarps. The Standard Tarps are available in Olive Drab, Mustard Tan, Brown, and Green, and a new natural white tarp. The Heavy Duty Tarps are now available in the Olive Drab, Brown, and Green, and the Super Duty in Olive Drab and Green.

The new color additions have not affected the quality of the canvas tarps in weight. The Standard tarps at the lower end of the weight scale still weigh 16 oz per square yard after the water resistant treatment. The Heavy Duty Tarps weigh in at 18 oz per square yard and the Super Duty Tarps an extremely durable 21 oz per square yard.

All of the canvas tarps in the Mytarp.com range are made from 100% cotton ensuring that the tarp is breathable, yet still water resistant, and won’t collect water condensation. This means that the tarps are ideal for covering lumber, woodpiles, or construction equipment that needs to be kept dry yet still be allowed to breathe.

After special treatment, they resist water, mildew and rot making them particularly good for outdoor uses such as boat covers and natural material covers,” said Yang. The Flame Retardant Tarps are subject to a special chemical treatment beyond the standard tarp range treatment that means that they are both durable and resilient to flames.

As well as high quality chemical treatments the Mytarp.com range has triple thick hems, double-stitched, and heavy duty rust resistant brass grommets every two feet along all sides and on all corners.
