The surgery is synchronized with a program called computer mapping and then spine of the person is scanned through computed tomography (CT) scan. The health specialists have reported that the time taken by the invasive surgery is same as traditional spine surgery. The robotic arm is called “The Mazor X surgical robotic arm”, which is used in the hospitals of 18 countries. Presently, it is applied by eight hospitals of the U.S. This effective technology is developed for the treatment of scoliosis.
