BDMO Strengthens Customer Services
Early in 2008, BDMO, the acknowledged and sophisticated manufacturer of exclusive carton packaging with premises in Belgium and France, extended its international services further to various European countries. Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain and Portugal have been targeted among the European key markets and are now served by a local sales force to provide an improved customer service in these countries and to further support BDMO’s extensive growth. The positive results of the new customer proximity have met BDMO’s expectations in full.
Consequently, after the first six months of 2008, the permanently augmenting business requested an adaptation of BDMO’s back-up services. As BDMO’s CEO, Geert Casselman, states: “BDMO has achieved an impressive degree of reach and customer satisfaction. To assure both, it is only a logical consequence for BDMO to strengthen its Customer Services, as well as our Research & Design department accordingly. The extension of our customer portfolio increased the diversity of creative demands at the same time. Therefore it is in BDMO’s core interest to make sure that both departments have seasoned managers.”
Damien Bertignon joined BDMO as the new director of Customer Services looking back at a long track record in the printing industry having served as a senior manager in sales and marketing for various companies.
Michaël Bosch, the previous head of Customer Services, with more than 10 years of experiences in packaging services, became Director of the R&D department. He will manage a team of graphic designers, 3D mock up designers, and experts in quotation for upgrading packaging products.
This team, with experience in Multimedia, luxury products, and other quality products in packaging will propose BDMO’s customers new and outstanding ideas to upgrade their packaging to boost their sales.
