Local Wealth Strategist Named to Meals on Wheels Board of Directors
Landon Watts Has Volunteered with Organization Since 1997RALEIGH, N.C. (July 30, 2008) – W. Landon Watts, a financial strategist for Raleigh-based Banyan Rock & Talent, has been named to the board of directors of Meals on Wheels. Watts has volunteered with the organization’s Raleigh office since 1997.
“I’m honored to be selected to the Meals on Wheels board of trustees,” said Watts. “As a kid, I used to help my parents as they delivered meals for the Lynchburg, Va. office.”
Watts will work closely with the fundraising committee to develop new partnerships and secure private contributions.
“We’re excited to have Landon join our board after his many years of volunteering with us,” said Alan Winstead, executive director of Meals on Wheels of Wake County. “His extensive financial experience will serve as a valuable asset to the organization.”
