HOPKINTON, MA (June 16, 2008) Flimp Media, Inc. (FMI) announced today the release of its patent pending FLIMP® web video marketing and analytics software for online event marketing. The FLIMP® Rich Media technology enables event marketers to quickly create, distribute and track dynamic flash video email marketing campaigns for promoting all types of events including seminars, conferences, trade shows, concerts, performances, webinars and webcasts without any programming or technical skills. These custom branded videosites, which can be delivered by email or weblinks to target audiences, collect detailed viewer engagement and response data by individual email address.

“FLIMP is different from any rich media technology available in the market,” according to Flimp Media’s CTO Richard DiBona “because it doesn’t require any programming or technical skills to use and the videosites collect much more useful information about viewer behavioral and interactions than any email marketing software.”
FLIMP, which stands for Flash Interactive Marketing Platform is particularly effective for event marketing applications where audiovisual content and detailed viewer tracking and reporting are important” according to Wayne Wall, FMI’s founder and CEO. “The distribution, reporting and analytics features are unique. Using FLIMP, event marketers can quickly and cost effectively create, distribute and track audiovisual marketing campaigns in less than an hour with real time data reporting of viewer activities and responses by individual email address.”
FLIMP has generated positive results for initial event marketing customers, including various pro tennis and PGA tour golf events and corporate leadership events featuring Marshall Goldsmith and Marcus Buckingham.

FLIMP turned what could have been a financial disaster into a tremendous success.
