roompad GmbH - ITB 2017 in Berlin

Nuremberg, 03/14/2017 – promising discussions with well established companies of tourism and hospitality industry in Berlin. From 07th until 11th of March new roompad products hit big on the professional audience with Amazon Alexa a cloud-based voice service placed in hotel rooms, a multi-hotel app including a digital key card and a check-in terminal based on the HP Sprout. The roompad platform is modularized and allows hotel keepers to communicate with guests on all touchpoints of the digital guest journey. To present the software solutions a stable internet connection is required and roompad wasn‘t pleased about the unstable internet quality on ITB.

“We were the third time in a row on ITB Berlin and it was a very successful trade fair”, concludes Marc Frauenholz, CEO of roompad GmbH. “As a hospitality software developer we had the chance to speak and to present our technological innovations to decision makers of the hospitality and tourism industry.” The trade fair proved to be an optimal market research platform.

Especially the conversations we had with the professional audiences are promising. The check-in terminal with its virtual room selection was popular among visitors. The growing company develops continuously on the systematic expansion of their 360 degree guest journey platform and on new and innovative software solutions. In particular, the cloud-based voice service of Amazon Alexa - which is available on Amazon Echo – got visitors excited.
