CheapOair Provides Donation to Doctors Without Borders

NEW YORK, N.Y. – June 5, 2008 – CheapOair donated $5,000 to Doctors Without Borders on May 26, 2008. CheapOair CEO, Mr. Jain was concerned about recent Cyclone Nargis in Myanmar and the Earthquake in China’s Sichuan Province, which has displaced many people and brought immense hardship to millions. The rising food costs and resulting problems in getting assistance to the affected people was a major challenge and Mr. Jain felt that DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS has a good system in place based on its long history of logistics as well as past work in these countries. CheapOair would like to participate more in such humanitarian actions to assist in world affairs where people are most affected, in order to build a responsible business.

Doctors Without Borders - “Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international medical humanitarian organization created by doctors and journalists in France in 1971. MSF operates independently of any political, military, or religious agendas. Medical teams conduct evaluations on the ground to determine a population's medical needs before opening programs.
