Kick-off for the 8th edition of the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards

Vienna, March 8th, 2017. The Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards invite film producers, client companies, agencies, TV stations, as well as students to submit their productions and take part in the 8th festival edition.
The Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards annually honour the world’s finest corporate films, online media, documentaries and reports in Cannes, the legendary city of films. During an exquisite Gala Dinner, the winners receive the coveted Dolphin Trophies in gold, silver and black. The best film of the festival receives the White Dolphin, the Grand Prix. Since 2015, there is also a Blue Dolphin which is awarded to the best production company of the year.
A panel of experienced jury members consisting of film experts, including Oscar and Emmy winners, as well as marketing and communication professionals will evaluate all submitted productions.
This year, the Awards Days will take place in Cannes on September 27th and 28th, 2017. Before the Awards Gala takes place at Palm Beach Cannes, all submitted productions can be viewed again in the Cannes Corporate Media Center. Due to the high interest, the lecture series, which has taken place for the first time in 2016, will also be continued.
New categories
The following categories are new this year: “360-Degree Documentaries” and “Best Use of 360-Degree” as well as “Social Media & Short Videos (Snack Content, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat…)”. The Dolphin Trophies are awarded in a total of 41 categories which can be summarized in the following five main categories: “Corporate Films and Videos”, “Documentaries and Reports (TV, Online, Cinema)”, “Corporate Online Media”, “Production Arts & Crafts” and “Student Films”.
Participation and Early Bird discount
For all entries which have been submitted before March 29th, 2017, there will be an Early Bird discount of 10 per cent. Submissions can be made online via the entry tool. All productions which have been aired produced or posted online after January 1st, 2015 can take part in the competition.
About the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards
The Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards are honoring every year the world’s best corporate films, online media and documentaries, in one of the most important film centers: Cannes, France. It is the only festival for corporate films taking place in Cannes, the city famously known for feature films and advertising productions. The festival has been founded by Filmservice International in 2010. Since then the Festival has constantly grown, becoming one of the top festivals for corporate films worldwide.
