SEASIDE, Ore. - Seaside Storage, a new locally owned self-storage facility on Highway 101, is officially open for business. The facility held its ribbon cutting with the Seaside Chamber of Commerce last month and is now taking reservations from residents, vacation home owners, and businesses across the north Oregon coast.

Located at 1685 N Roosevelt Drive, Seaside Storage [https://www.seasidestorage.com/] offers 65 heated units in three sizes: 5 times 10 walk-up units at $99 per month, 5 times 10 drive-up units at $119 per month, and 10 times 20 drive-up units at $249 per month. New tenants receive their first month free on 5 times 10 units with deposit.

The facility features electronic gated access with personal codes for each tenant, 24-hour camera monitoring, perimeter fencing, and a well-lit lot. Access hours are 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., seven days a week. The entire rental process is conducted online - tenants can browse available units, sign a lease, pay the first month, and receive their gate code within about five minutes at SeasideStorage.com.

"Seaside is growing, and the community needed a modern, high-security storage option that's centrally located and built to protect what people put in it," said Seth Morrisey, owner of Seaside Storage. "We built this for our neighbors - heated, secure, easy to use, and locally owned."

Morrisey is a lifelong Seaside resident, the owner of a local marketing agency, and currently serves as President of the Seaside City Council.

A second phase is planned for summer 2027, adding 90 climate-controlled units and bringing the facility's total capacity to 155 units. The expansion will introduce climate-controlled storage to the Seaside market, offering humidity-regulated protection for items including fine furniture, electronics, photographs, and business records.

Morrisey thanked the local contractors who completed the construction and the Seaside Chamber of Commerce for their support during the opening.
