On the following holidays, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, culinary enjoyment takes center stage. From 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM, the castle invites guests to the traditional Easter feast, where they can indulge to their heart's content in the castle and brewery. A special highlight awaits on the evening of April 5, 2026: from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, an additional Easter gourmet buffet will be held in the brewery, focusing on regional specialties.

The Grand Finale of the Mellenthin Whisky Season
A standout event in the castle's calendar is the Mellenthin Whisky Weekend, taking place for the final time this season from April 17 to 19, 2026. The program offers whisky connoisseurs and interested guests an in-depth journey through the world of distillation. It begins on Friday with an introduction to malt varieties at the brewhouse, followed by a kitchen party featuring stone-baked bread and brewery specialties.
Saturday is entirely dedicated to the art of distilling at the Insel-Manufaktur, where the process is explained in detail and samples of the various distillation stages are provided. With its own brewery, distillery, coffee roastery, and island workshop, it invites guests to stay, celebrate, unwind, and relax.
