At Blushush their London-based Webflow agency the bet is going the other direction entirely. While the broader web design industry is in pursuit to generate websites in under 30 minutes using AI tools, Bhavik Sarkhedi and Sahil Gandhi have quietly and deliberately, built something that takes longer on purpose.
Speed is not the point, Sahil Gandhi said. Anyone can ship a site fast. The question is whether it feels like anything when it loads.
Sahil Gandhi, a TEDx speaker known in branding circles as The Brand Professor, co-founded Blushush with Bhavik Sarkhedi, a Forbes-recognized entrepreneur and author with a shared conviction that a brand's website should carry emotional weight beyond the technical function. That conviction has become the agency's entire operating foundation.
Blushush is a certified Webflow Partner, and by most external measures, it is doing well. It serves clients across fintech, SaaS, and personal branding sectors. The agency has grown through referrals. It has attracted brands willing to wait longer and pay more for something that, as one client put it, doesn't look like it was made by the same robot as everyone else's site.
What sets this agency apart is its process. Blushush reports spending 60 to 70 percent more time per project than AI-assisted competitors, with a workflow built around handwritten brand narratives, custom pixel-level design decisions, and UX architecture that starts from the brand's story rather than a template library.
Bhavik Sarkhedi, who also leads Ohh My Brand, a personal branding agency, sees the two ventures as expressions of the same belief: that people connect with people, and brands that communicate that human quality earn trust faster than those optimized purely for conversion.
AI can replicate patterns, Bhavik expressed. Artificial Intelligence cannot sit with a founder for two hours, understand what they've sacrificed to build something, and turn it into a homepage that makes a stranger stop scrolling.
The irony is not lost on either of them that they are making this argument as Webflow itself deepens its own AI capabilities. The platform has added automated site generation and AI-powered optimization tools. Many agencies that once competed with Blushush have repositioned themselves as AI strategy consultancies. Space is changing fast.
Both Bhavik and Sahil admit that is exactly the point.
"When every agency uses the same tools and the same models, the outputs converge," Sahil explained. "We are not anti-technology. We are pro-differentiation. Right now, handcraft is the differentiator."
Whether that position holds commercially over the long term remains an open question one both founders seem genuinely comfortable sitting with. They have not disclosed revenue figures, but they are definitely not short of work.
What they have built at Blushush is rarer than it sounds: an agency with a clear point of view, two founders who have staked their reputations on it, and a growing number of clients who believe that in a world of AI-generated sameness, a website that feels genuinely human is worth something.
Maybe worth quite a lot.
