Appily Launches Meet Appily Scholarship to Support Early College Planning for High School Students
Appily, a trusted college planning platform is partnering with school counselors to provide financial support to college-bound high school students.Twice a year, the Meet Appily Scholarship is awarded to a high school student in the amount of $ 5,000. Designed with both students and counselors in mind, the scholarship removes common application barriers that often prevent students from applying.
"Counselors asked for something easy to share and easy for students to access. The Meet Appily Scholarship was built for that," says Emily Niedermaier, Managing Director of Appily Marketing. "The $5,000 Meet Appily Scholarship is designed to be simple to enter and easy for counselors to share with students."
To qualify, students must be in grades 9-12 and create a free Appily account. There are no essays, transcripts, recommendation letters, resumes, or test scores to apply.
Students face high friction with many scholarships. The Meet Appily Scholarship lowers the barrier to entry so more students can participate, and it gives counselors a quick, shareable resource that fits into real school schedules.
For each student registration, counselors have a chance to win a $250 gift card. The deadline for students to apply for the next Meet Appily Scholarship is May 31st. The winner will be announced in June.
