S.A. Self Defense Launches ShadowFlex Holster Line for Byrna Launchers

S.A. Self Defense has announced the release of its new ShadowFlex holster line, a modular holster system designed specifically for Byrna less-lethal launchers. The initial release includes a ShadowFlex holster engineered for the Byrna CL, with additional Byrna-compatible models currently in development.

The ShadowFlex line was created to support everyday carry with a focus on comfort, adaptability, and long-term use. Each holster combines a model-specific Kydex shell with a hybrid backing made from neoprene and TPM rubber, offering a balance of structure, breathability, and sweat resistance during extended wear.

ShadowFlex holsters support both inside-the-waistband and outside-the-waistband carry using the same platform. Users can configure their setup with IWB clips, belt loops, or configure the IWB clip for OWB carry, allowing carry style changes without replacing the holster.

The ShadowFlex system also features a modular shell design, allowing shells to be replaced independently of the backing. This approach enables color changes, shell replacement, and future expansion as new Byrna models are added. Optional compatibility with concealment claws and microfiber liners allows users to further customize their carry setup.
